TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS

Interns need to be proficient in computer skills. If interns feel they need additional training, NYDDI will recommend resources to improve their skills. Interns will complete time logs, case study, research project, assignments, evaluations, and other work electronically. For virtual meetings you will need a webcam, headset, earphones and microphone.

Note: Cellphone are not recommended for meetings.

Minimum technology requirements

• Active email account (not school account)
• Computer laptop with minimum 4GB memory
  *Note: Chromebook running Google Chrome is not compatible
• Microsoft Office 10 or later with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• High speed internet connection
• Webcam and headset with earphones and microphone
• System to back up your work

NYDDI interns will learn about and participate in an on-line information reporting program called DI App. This easy to use program will be covered during orientation.
